Leasehold of the SLPA Cline Town Marine

Slipway and Shipyard Facilities

The Government of Sierra Leone has agreed a re-structuring programme with the Sierra Leone Ports Authority under which the provision of non-core services will be offered to the private sector. The Cline Town Marine Slipway and Shipyard has been identified as one of these non-core services.

Accordingly, the National Commission for Privatization (NCP) hereby invites parties interested in purchasing the fixed assets and entering into a long leasehold (21 years, subject to a renewal of a further 21 years) in respect of the facilities of the SLPA Cline Town Marine Slipway and Shipyard, to registered their interest with NCP Registered bidders will:

l         Receive an Information Memorandum, providing a description of the existing slipway and shipyard operations the market in which it operates the history and current status of operational assets, organisation and personnel, etc.

l         Receive an Invitation to Tender (ITT) dossier, outlining the procedures for the submission of bids to purchase the assets and lease the facility;

l         Have the opportunity to undertake their own due Diligence and inspect the slipway and shipyard operations and assets

Note that only those parties who have duly registered their interest will be provided with the Information Memorandum, ITT and access to undertake Due Diligence exercise. Tenders will only be accepted from duly registered bidders.
