1. The Government of Sierra Leone has received a Grant from the international bank for reconstruction and development towards the cost of the Sierra Leone Health sector Reconstruction and Development Project (HSRDP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the townships of Makeni, kabala Koidu and Moyamba.
2. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD loans and IDA credits.
3. The Ministry of Health and Sanitation on behalf of the Government of Sierra Leone invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Dump Sites including Sluge Solders at the following locations:

Bidders may bid for any one or more contract lots as further defined in the bidding documents. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded multiple contracts lots will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the form of bid or submitted in writing before the deadline for bid submission. All bids and offers of discounts shall be opened and evaluated simultaneously so as o determine the bid or combination of bids including discounts offering the lowest evaluated solution for the employer.
4. bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the world bank’s guidelines: procurement under IBRD loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.
5. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased at name and address below for a non fundable fee of Le 350, 000, 00 or equivalent in any freely converted currency for each contract lot. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.
6. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by security of Le5, 000,000 or equivalent in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids shall be delivered to the name and address below on or before 12:00 hours on 16th June 2006 at witch time they will be opened in the conference room of the ministry of health and sanitation, 4th floor, Youyi Building, Freetown, in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
