Invitation to Tender for long Leasehold of the SLPA Cline Town
Marine Slipway and Shipyard Facilities.
The Government of Sierra Leone has agreed a re-structuring programme with the Sierra Leone Port Authority under which the provision of non-core services will be offered to the private sector. The Cline Town Marine Slipway and Shipyard has been identified as one of these non-core services.
Accordingly, the National Commission for Privatization (NCP) hereby invites parties interested in entering into a long leasehold (21 years, subject to renewal of a further 21years) in respect of the assets and activities of the SLPA Cline town Marine Slipway and Shipyard to register their interest with NCP. Registered bidders will:
Receive an Information Memorandum, providing a description of the existing Slipway and Shipyard operations, the market in which it operates, the history and current status of operational assets, organization and personnel, etc;
Receive an Invitation to Tender dossier, indicating the arrangements for the submission of bids to lease the facility.
Have the opportunity to undertake their own Due Diligence and inspect the slipway and shipyard operations and assets.
To register your interest, please forward your registration fee of Le 3,000,000.00(or US$1,000.00), payable to “The National Commission for Privatization”, to:

Please provide name and address of the prospective tenderer and indicate “Slipway and Shipyard Registration of interest”. Bidders who had originally submitted bids need not re-register.
Note that only those parties who have duly registered their interest will be provided with the Information Memorandum, ITT and access to undertake Due Diligence procedures. Further tenders will only be accepted from duly registered bidders.
The deadline for the receipt of tenders for the lease of SLPA Cline Town Marine Slipway and Shipyard is 30th June 2006
